Maxwell Distributors is a family-owned and operated start-up specializing in the distribution of alternatives products for Tobacco and Smoke-Shop retailers across the country. Maxwell's mission is to design and create a fundamentally new approach to distribution that is centered on partnerships, vertical integration, and positive sum-incentives.

As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the tracking, organizing, handling, and shipment of products in the warehouse. The primary tasks of an operations associate are to receive, stock, count, move, pick, verify, and ship inventory. This role requires basic computer proficiency, a schedule that allows for at least eight hours Monday through Friday, the fitness to lift up to 60-pound boxes repeatedly, and the ability to easily and consistently organize goods and supplies.

This introductory role serves both to fulfill the primary function of the business, the delivery of goods, but also, is meant to give an individual the experience, knowledge, skills, and industry awareness to move into more complex operations roles or to lay the groundwork for working within another department of the company. Success for an operations associate is the mastery of basic warehouse management skills so that they are capable of making innovative contributions to the operations department that help our team's efficiency, accuracy, and maximize customer satisfaction.
